U-Fuel is a rapidly growing company providing environmentally safe products for storing and dispensing hazardous liquids. Incorporated in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1987, the company owns and occupies facilities located at the junction of Interstate 94 and Highway 29.

U-Fuel started business designing and installing automated self-service fuel facilities at airports. The company is a pioneer in the field of retail, unattended fueling by means of credit card. Their portable systems are commonly referred to as "Fuel Vending Machines." U-Fuel has systems at many large and small airports in the U.S. and abroad.

U-Fuel also pioneered marine fueling, providing many systems to the U.S. Coast Guard, Navy and private marinas. The ability to move the entire fuel system within hours notice has proved beneficial during recent hurricanes and floods. In 1998, U-Fuel sought patent protection for a floating self-service fuel system called a "Fuel Barge," intended for fresh and saltwater locations. The Fuel Barge has been modified to function as a "marine pump-out station" for sanitary waste.
